The Juggler by Victor Molev

An early design from Collection no1 and my first Davici jigsaw. This also captivated BCD members Nicki Barker and Geert Bekkering, who have written articles for the BCD & AGPI magazines about Davici.

This 210pc jigsaw has a fascinating surreal-fantasy image by Viktor Molev. Davici described it as, “A puzzle allegory about the diversity of inner worlds, where human values and feelings are intertwined in an eternal dance.” The cut includes many circus-themed multi-piece whimsies, and the connectors are shaped as hands and feet. This is is the older-style packaging, and you can see the colourful edge paper and Davici signature cat whimsy stuck on the box edge.

Viktor Molev was born in Russia in 1955, emigrated to Israel in 1990 and has lived in Canada since 2006. He is a popular artist in Davici ranges, with at least seven titles.
