Dance of the Golden Fields, 550pc 2-Sided Butterfly Cut
A jigsaw made from the latest Dreamton range, Folk & Fairy Tales, using the 2-sided Butterfly cut. Ihor introduced this range in August 2024, sending regular customers a huge choice of images. This is 'Dance of the Golden Fields', no43 in Ihor's Fairy & Folk Tale image bank. I’d love to know the story behind the illustration and the artist’s name.
I thought the joyous, swirling cut with its butterfly whimsies, curling spirals, rotating centres, tendril plants and dropouts was perfect for a sunny meadow scene and was very happy with the result. The cut was first used for Sleeping Beauty, although initially Ihor removed more of the dropouts on the edge. He later decided to keep them so that people have the choice. The backing paper has many gorgeous butterflies set against a black background.
