Gibsons

H.P.Gibson & Sons was established in 1919 but only started making jigsaws (cardboard) in 1986 under the brand name of "Gibson's Games". During the remaining 80's and through the 1990's it expanded its ranges and became a major UK producer. The company is still family owned, based in South London and continues to sell a wide range of card puzzles, toys and games.

The examples illustrated can only give a flavour of the vast numbers produced over the last 40 years. However the two catalogues provide useful information on the different ranges offered at those times.

The brand name was changed to "Gibsons" by the millennium.
