The Lifeboat is Launched

Ref no 1330 cut by Terry Walters, 422pc ‘The Lifeboat is Launched’ was made for Bronwen. On Terry’s website he described it as an “early Second Dimension puzzle cut from .25” & 0.5” plywood, 12x16in, 3D-enhanced, semi-interlocking background, push-fit line-cut foreground.” Bronwen’s review of the jigsaw was included on his site, pre-Feb 2015. The image is by Harry Payne from ‘ABC of Horses’, 1880.

The jigsaw (or another copy) and a companion ‘Fire Engine Horses’ were displayed at the Salem Puzzle Parley 2012 (photo Joe Seymour). Terry was using a book-format packaging at that time. The jigsaw is still owned by a BCD member. The photos were taken at a BCD meeting.
