Whitley Bay

Terry was a jigsaw collector and BCD member before he emigrated to the USA and in late 2012 he cut this 3D-enhanced jigsaw for the club. It appeared on the cover of BCD’s 30th Anniversary Edition magazine in Sept 2015, and I photographed it at the 2015 House Party. One photo showing the enhanced figure laid on the reversed background was used on Terry’s website, which he gave up around the time he returned to Oakman, UK in 2017. The jigsaw has a semi-interlocking background and a line-cut push-fit figure. The image is a British Rail promotional poster by Arthur C Michael from 1949.
