Silvery Moon

A remarkably high-quality wooden puzzle made by Milton Bradley. The cut is extremely fine so pieces fit closely together without easily coming apart and have constantly wavy lines. There are 36 shaped pieces whimsies), mainly in the form of people and animals.

Silvery Moon was painted by the American artist Harry van der Weyden in 1929 and his signature is visible in the bottom LH corner.

This example comes in a pink box with a label giving numerical details of those involved in its cutting, sanding, inspection and packing.
