Napoleon Receives Queen Victoria

300-piece interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle featuring a painting by the French artist Jules Noel (1815-1881). The puzzle comes with a double-sided sheet (illustrated) giving information on both the artist and the historical aspect of the scene depicted.

The puzzle is housed in a burgundy coloured box with small scale colour guide picture on the lid. It also includes ten figural shapes, two of which are made up of several individual pieces. Sadly I have not been able to make an identification of the shape which is made of five pieces! What on earth is it?

I estimate the puzzle to be of c.1990s manufacture.
