SrB Puzzles Workshop
Raul & Marie Jose Barrera of SrB Puzzles Workshop (in Pioz then Seville, Spain) have been selling hand cut plywood jigsaws since about 2020. They take commissions and sell through an Etsy shop (with about 300 sales listed to March 2024). Raul enjoys assembling fine art jigsaws and he specializes in artists like the Pre-Raphaelites, JW Waterhouse, Mucha, Japanese Art, Carl Larsson, Evelyn De Morgan, JW Godward & Klimt. Raul’s cutting style is an elegant, round-knobbed, interlocking all-over cut (without line-cutting) which suits fine art. His trademark paintbrush signature whimsy carries the cutting date and piece count (generally 250-650pc). His jigsaws are packed in hand-made stained wooden boxes, with a red paintbrush handle on the sliding lid. The boxes are lined with felt and include a record card.
Raul is noted for the sumptuous quality of his images. He has a keen following in the wooden jigsaw facebook groups where he promotes his fast-selling jigsaws and has just launched a site with photos of almost 250 of his jigsaws.
