500-piece "Gold Box Wooden Jigsaw" puzzle from British manufacturer Michael Stanfield Limited and thought to be of c1980s manufacture. Also included in the box was a small information sheet about this range of puzzles, along with a note regarding the small holes present in the puzzle being an "inherent part of the hand-cutting process".
The puzzle includes 16 figural shaped pieces and features a fine painting by the Italian artist Eugene de Blaas (1843-1932).
