Grande Plage à Biarritz, La

A painting dated 1923 of bathers on the main beach at the very fashionable resort of Biarritz in south west France. The artist is Marie Josephine Vallet (1866 – 1932), known as Jaqueline Marval. The people in the foreground are wearing single-piece costumes and sun hats.

The shaped pieces have a seaside theme as seen in the illustration of the reverse.

The puzzle is laser-cut form 7-ply wood using a template cut by Mark Capitella.
