Arrow Games Ltd.

Established in 1965 Arrow Games became a major British manufacturer responsible for many games and cardboard puzzles. These were often linked to films and shows of the era. Examples included puzzles promoting the James Bond movies, Gerry Anderson's UFO series and Enid Blyton's Noddy.

In the mid 1970's the company was 75% purchased by Milton Bradley who closed the Tottenham factory and transferred operations to Waterford in the Irish Republic. Production ceased in 1987.

Arrow made a very wide range of card puzzles, up to 4000 pieces, many of which survive.

A few examples are illustrated and more photos of other puzzles with full details are welcomed.

A more comprehensive history of Arrow Games can be read on page 32 of Tom Tyler's book 'British Jigsaw Puzzles of the 20th Century'.
