Cowes Regatta

200 piece, fully interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle of c1939 manufacture and featuring a painting by the British artist Charles Eddowes Turner. The puzzle is housed in a green bookshelf style box with ribbon ties and smaller scale colour guide picture. Also included in the box was a Christmas greetings card from 1939, helping to date this puzzle accurately.

This painting also featured as one of Chad Valley's "Dunlop" series of promotional puzzles from the same era, the Dunlop name being clearly visible on the rear tyre of the nearest car.
