Royal Family, The

This is the standard version of the jigsaw puzzle, which has also now been found in a most unusual c1935 Silver Jubilee Souvenir Version.
The puzzle shown came with the pink book-shelf type box, but I have another example in the same box type although blue in colour, the images of which are also shown. As was common practice, particularly in Royalty related puzzles, the faces have all been carefully cut as single pieces.
In an unusual break with tradition, the wedding couple do not appear in the centre of this group picture. The event was that of the Royal wedding of Princess Marina of Greece and Price George-Duke of Kent on 29th November 1934, one year prior to King George V's Silver Jubilee for which this print also featured.

There is also a 225-piece version in a smaller book-style box.
