Queen Elizabeth at the Royal Exchange

Estimated to be of c1925-1930 manufacture, this superb plywood jigsaw puzzle features a painting by the British artist Ernest Crofts, a depiction of Queen Elizabeth I opening London's Royal Exchange in 1570.

Whilst colour line-cutting is not normally associated with this top London brand, significant attention has been paid to the cutting of all of the featured faces. The puzzle is housed in a sturdy faux-reptile skin covered box with a label promoting the puzzle as being "Made and Sold exclusively by Robert Plumb".
