King John Signing the Magna Carta, June 15th, 1215.

The box-base carries information about several other puzzles from various different series, this being one of the Historical Paintings in the Royal Exchange, featuring a painting by the notable British artist Ernest Normand (1859-1923). The domed top adds a real touch of class to the well-cut plywood puzzle and the box is of the highest quality. A price of 21/- for a 600 piece puzzle matches that of J. Salmon on some of their own puzzles. See the puzzle Henry V Before Harfleur, as an example. My belief is that J. Salmon also produced this puzzle.
