Waving Cornfield

From the same Heliochrome series as the Delta branded Avenue of Chestnuts, this enormous plywood puzzle was created for the top London store Fortnum & Mason. As with the other, this size of board made it impossible to fully interlock the puzzle pieces, so a wavy-edged vertical cut was made separating the two halves, which could then be cut in the traditional way.
These Fortmason branded puzzles were supplied in very impressive hinge-lidded boxes with handwritten label.
