Glevum Jig-Saw Puzzles

Roberts Brothers (Gloucester) was a family business established in 1895 by two bothers. They manufactured toys and games from establishments in London and Gloucester.
Puzzles under the Glevum series name were just one of the many products they produced and are quite uncommon when compared to the likes of Victory, Chad Valley and J. Salmon. Many of the known examples use the continuous cutting method, which is more common in Europe but mainly seen in England in the work of Robert Plumb, The Expert.
The Company was taken over by Chad Valley in 1954.
