Chinese Chippendale Room

Large example from the Delta Fine Cut range, interlocking in style and 1000 piece in size. The painting is by the British-born artist Richard Jack (1866-1952), who became Canada's first official war artist. It features his 1926 artistic representation of Queen Mary's Chinese Chippendale Room at Buckingham Palace.
The box-base carries a label advising that "the sale of this puzzle benefits the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund".
This particular example also has an interesting flaw, noticeable to the right of the artist signature. One edge piece does not line up with its adjacent pieces, which I would explain as likely resulting from the mix up of two puzzles, which were stack-cut together. This odd piece will belong to its cutting partner, which will no doubt have the equivalent piece jutting out beyond its own adjoining pieces!
