Travel Series

A very scarce series of plywood jigsaws from A.V.N. Jones, similar to their more familiar South African and Australian series, and probably from roughly the same era of the 1930's.

The box end label promotes this as a series of twelve, so it will be interesting to see how many further examples we can track down to expand the album. Having added the first title in 2009, it took until 2025 to add the second, that of Monte Carlo, showing a period motor car in the foreground, complete with Dunlop branded tyres. Well done to Alan Sudbury for finding it and displaying here on the Jigasaurus.
