Fine Wines

One of more than 120 jigsaws cut for the library by Rob Garner (Amber Puzzles) during 2002-8, under the stewardship of Dave Cooper. This very colourful plywood jigsaw puzzle, was cut c2005 and features a domed upper edge. Over his career Rob used a small range of figurals, but the ones most often included were a heart & R (which he usually signed), and his dog Rufus. This jigsaw also includes a baby's shoe.

The style is fully interlocking without any colour line-cutting. This is likely to have been requested by the library to satisfy members with a preference for relatively conventionally cut puzzles.

The unsigned painting originated as a promotional poster.
