Stunning wooden jigsaw puzzle, estimated to be of c1980 manufacture and featuring a painting attributed to Heather Murray, the print recording copyright information for "Gallery Five 1978 series 10".

A fairly standardly interlocking frame, along with areas of swirling interlocking pieces all help to contain the largely non-interlocking pieces of the main characters portrayed.

The design of the puzzle is so sympathetic with the image, another clear example of Eric's undoubted skill as a cutter. Oftentimes, the cut lines of a puzzle can rather detract from the setting but in his case, they frequently serve to somehow enhance it. Superb!
