Head of Loch Tay, Perthshire

This interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle which assembles inside its own tray-style box, carries the Philmar brand label but has cutting characteristics similar to several of the major pre-WWII manufacturers, such as AVN Jones who I suspect may have produced this puzzle for them. Philmar went on to become a very significant producer of predominantly cardboard jigsaw puzzles and board games from the 1940's on.
