Rising Generation, The

A very challenging little plywood jigsaw puzzle indeed! Boasting 365, entirely push-fit pieces, crammed into a puzzle measuring only 10 1/2" x 7" and with colour line-cutting throughout. It came housed in a Rothmans "White Horse" brand cardboard box with the title handwritten on the base. Both puzzle and box are estimated to be of c1930s-1940s origin.

The painting is by the British artist John Charles Dollman (1851-1934).
