World's Fair Picture Puzzle. Chicago 1933

Carrying the official approval as of Sept 1 1932-A century of progress-Rufus C. Dawes (President), this fully interlocking thick card jigsaw puzzle fits neatly inside its tray-style box with full-sized colour reproduction on the lid. The artwork is by the American artist Harry M Pettit (1867-1941), and features the site of the World's Fair in Chicago 1933.
A key in the lower right quadrant serves to identify the areas within the International Exposition, also registering H.M. Pettit's 1932 copyright and recording Rand McNally as publishers and distributors. Whether they were the actual manufacturer of the puzzle is not known.
