Flemish Flower Market, A

Fine quality, c1930's plywood jigsaw puzzle from the Academy range of puzzles, which features a colourful painting by the French artist Victor Gilbert (1847-1933).
This example is number J5004 in Salmon's range, but comes with a box for J5003, similarly-sized at 650 pieces, but entitled Flower Seller. Whether this mix-up occurred at the time of manufacturer, or later on is unknown.
