Poppy Land

Very fine quality plywood puzzle, retailed by Selfridge's Store of Oxford Street in London, but thought to have been cut possibly by AVN Jones Ltd., or William Peacock & Sons Ltd. The style of cutting in the non-interlocking and colour line-cut central subject area is more reminiscent of the latter, whilst the interlocking surround, along with use of the Fine Cut Picture Puzzle wording on the box label, point rather more towards the former.
The wonderfully colourful painting is unsigned.
