80-piece solid wooden jigsaw puzzle, cut in the non-interlocking style and featuring a painting © 1904 by R. Hill, possibly the British landscape artist Rowland Henry Hill.

The puzzle is housed in its original box with lift-off lid and an end label boasting the "Great Picture Puzzle Craze" and describing it as "JIGGER CUT". This terminology, along with the use of solid wood and the copyright information, all seem to point towards a c1904-1910 origin for the puzzle.
