Garden Scene in Brittany

Very fine quality wooden jigsaw puzzle, laser-cut by the Silverton Puzzle Company, sadly no longer in production, featuring a colourful print of Pierre-Auguste Renoir's c1886 Impressionist painting.
The laser-cutting in this example is of a very high standard and features thirteen Whimsies, or figural shapes, several with close similarity to those of some of the earlier manufacturers. An S shaped piece towards the lower right corner is presumably a signature piece for the company. The puzzle also includes quite a number of false-corner shaped pieces to add to the challenge of assembly.
