Sport and Travel Series

This fascinating series of six puzzles, available in both 150 and 350 piece versions, all had the same cover picture on the box, namely that of number six, Bellagio, the island municipality in the centre of Lake Como, Italy. This often gives rise to these quite scarce puzzles being thought of as in the wrong boxes, but a look on the reverse shows the others in the set, as well as indicating which puzzle is contained within.
The artist for all six paintings is believed to be Clifford Roger Fleming-Williams (1880-1940). Whilst most of the 150 piece examples are missing his signature, the majority of the 350-piece puzzles do exhibit either full or partial signatures. The exception is number 1 in the series, entitled "Lugano", so a definite identification cannot be given for this image, but it seems likely that he was the artist for this also.
Many thanks to Alan Sudbury for filling in all of the gaps in this series, making it possible to display both variants of all 6 puzzles here, all in one place.
