Cheating the Toll

A puzzle cut by H.T.Thornton and containing a "signature piece" as illustrated. Was originally made for a jigsaw library and the box base lists past lendings and conditions.

The picture is by Cecil Aldin and depicts a coach charging through a toll gate without paying. A discarded programme from "Epsom Races" can be seen at the bottom of the picture so perhaps the owner had lost all his money on the Derby?

Many thanks to Jill for photos and information about this puzzle.
