Genevieve

A picture of Genevieve by an unknown artist cut into a puzzle by H. Thornton of Lincoln. Saint Genevieve was a 5th century consecrated virgin and one of the catholic patron saints of Paris.

The puzzle is housed in a BJPL generic box with the Leamington Spa address but it was thought to have been cut in the 1930's.

The style is push-fit and edge-cut with a wavy edge. For this reason and the deviousness of the cutter it is very challenging to assemble.
