Dixon of Dock Green

Mini-series of two cardboard jigsaw puzzles, estimated to be of early 1960s manufacture and featuring unsigned depictions of two named scenes from the long-running police procedural drama.

The two scenes are entitled: "No. 1 DIXON GETS HIS MAN" and "No.2 THE CHASE ON THE RIVER". These do not appear to equate to any official episode titles.

The series, starring the late Jack Warner as Constable George Dixon, ran for over 400 episodes from 1955-1976, drawing to a close when Jack Warner, then in his late 70s, was no longer considered a viable representation of an acting police officer. The mandatory retirement age for police officers was 55 years of age at the time.
