Soldiers of The King

Series of six interlocking plywood puzzles, cut in the Crazy-Cut style, supplied in strong blue and red boxes with a postcard colour guide picture stuck on the lid. Believed to have been manufactured during the 1930s.
As I understand it, the Carfax signature appearing on the prints refers to the Carfax Gallery, established in 1898 and operative through the 1920's. This gallery existed to promote and sell the works of lesser-known artists of the time.
