Doubt

Very colourful example from this uncommon brand, cut into 150 fully interlocking plywood pieces and featuring a painting by the prolific British artist Joseph Halford Ross.

With this example the box labelling states that it was "cut by British ex-servicemen". The print carries the name of the publisher as John Harrap & Son, The Picture House, Holborn Building, London E.C.2., a company which, at the British Industries Fair in 1929, advertised making up puzzles amongst other activities. This puzzle is estimated to be of c1930 manufacture.
Many thanks to P.E. for supplying details and images, along with the associated research.
