None but the Brave Deserve the Fair-456 piece

Another fine example of this famous "Pears" print being utilised as the subject for a hand cut wooden jigsaw puzzle, of uncertain manufacturing origins. In this case, the box is lined with three pages taken from a November 6th, 1915 edition of "The Queen" newspaper. One of the adverts contained carries details of "The Sphinx Jigsaw Club", along with its patroness H.R.H. Princess Christian, Queen Vitoria and Prince Albert's third daughter and fifth child.

This is a very challenging puzzle of 456 non-interlocking pieces with excellent colour line cutting and rounded corners. Given the newspaper dates and that the Pears print itself was issued in 1915, it seems reasonable to date this puzzle accordingly.
