Post Office Tower London

320-piece fully interlocking cardboard jigsaw puzzle, believed to be of c1964 manufacture and featuring a superb night-time artistic study by the British artist Terence Cuneo. At the time of his painting the tower was still under construction, this impression being from Clipstone Street in London's Fitzrovia district.

This image went on to feature on a 1965 Dunlop wall calendar. Note the "Dunlop" legend on the NSF tyre of the green car entering from the lower right.

Did you spot the Mouse? Almost synonymous with Terence Cuneo paintings. Unfortunately, the arbitrary cutting pattern has rather dissected it but I found it eventually, running at high speed right to left across Clipstone Street!

The puzzle is housed in a white card box with lift-off lid and smaller scale colour guide picture. There is no brand information recorded, only a reference to the building's height of 620 feet and the statement "with acknowledgement to the Dunlop Company Limited for the loan of this painting".
