Elizabethan Home, An

Well cut, predominantly interlocking puzzle which includes a solitary windmill-shaped piece, probably by way of a cutter's signature to his work. The similarly cut and presented puzzle Politeness was presumably made by the self-same cutter. Date is uncertain but likely to have been during the jigsaw-boom years of the 1930's, when amateur cutters and puzzle libraries were very active.
