Lonely Shore, The

Beautifully cut non-interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle featuring a charming study by the English artist/caricaturist Lewis Christopher Edward Baumer (1870-1963). Baumer worked for the satirical magazine Punch for much of his working life, but also provided material for the Sketch, Tatler and Vanity Fair publications.
The puzzle has widespread colour line-cutting and the inside of the box-lid shows completion dates from 1923 onwards.
