Mother and Son

A very fine quality, semi-interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle, of unknown manufacture, probably amateur-cut. See A Game of Golf for another example of puzzle thought to be from this same cutter. Label design and hand-writing, along with the semi-interlocking style, all lead me towards this belief.
The painting is by the British artist Henry William Banks David (RA) and the puzzle is thought to be of c1930's origin.
