Shepherd and Shepherdess on Hillside

The manufacturer of this small semi-interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle is uncertain, but it, along with this somewhat similarly-styled Half-Timbered House and Garden puzzle, came with a collection of Leisure & Pleasure puzzles by Enid Stocken. The figure shapes in this puzzle, whilst quite simply cut, do bear some similarities to her designs, so maybe cut by an amateur who was influenced by some of her puzzles. The painting is signed by the British illustrator Justin Todd and thought to be of c1970's origin.
