Sinbad in Danger

Extremely challenging plywood jigsaw puzzle, of uncertain manufacturing origin, which features a beautifully painted and very colourful account of Sinbad's encounter with a giant serpent in the Valley of Jewels.
I enjoyed this puzzle so much, without an image to go by! The cut is primarily non-interlocking and the colour lines have been brilliantly cut, giving virtually no clue as to their correct positioning within the scene. Sadly, the artwork is unsigned and I have not been able to find any other reference to it, but assume its origins are within one of the Arabian Nights publications of old. Date also uncertain, but I suspect it to be of c1930's manufacture, probably by a highly accomplished amateur cutter.
