Sleeping Beauty, The

Painted by the artist John Collier-ROI, dated 1921 by his signature, the painting was subsequently issued as a Pears Annual print. Here it has been cut in a skillful, semi-interlocking style with abundant colour line-cutting and comes housed in a paper-covered box which carries as its label, the caption from the base of the original print.
