Exciting Finish, An

200 piece wooden jigsaw puzzle from this very limited production brand. As with the larger "Question of Colour" puzzle, the general cutting style is one of non-interlocking pieces within an interlocking border. However, in this example the cutter has also included six quite simple figural shaped pieces.

The painting is signed by the British artist Charles Trevor Garland (1851-1906) and the puzzle is housed in a box with a base label for Terry's Devon Chocolates, whilst the inner lid carries the puzzle label with printed reference to N.L. Vaisey.
