La Vierge et l'Enfant (Retable d'Issenheim)

Very impressive 2000 piece example from Puzzle Vera, cut in their more complex Apollo range style. The puzzle has been accurately line-cut around subject profiles as well as colour borders, with subtle variations in the shape of the push-fit pieces in different areas. As usual the central area is retained within an interlocking border. This puzzle was purchased from new in 1971, coincidently containing that exact same number of pieces!
