Queen Elizabeth Reviewing the Troops

A large and early example of Victory's pre Gold Box era, best quality plywood jigsaw puzzles. Of c1920s production and incorporating sixteen figural shapes, the puzzle features a fine historical painting by the artist Mabel Dorothy Hardy (1868-1937). It is housed in a sturdy, floral-design paper-covered box with hinged lid.

This artist's paintings have featured widely in jigsaw puzzle artwork of the era, including use of this same print for both V.T.H branded and Holtzapffel puzzles. Those currently on display within the Jigasaurus pages can be found here
