Building the Tower of Babel (Period)

Wavy-edged and colour line-cut puzzle featuring an unsigned painting of this famous Biblical scene.
Basic research reveals that the 15th Century painting is credited to the so-called Bedford Master, a Parisian based manuscript illustrator. Wikipedia has more information about this.
The puzzle probably dates from the 1950's and does not feature Whimsies, or figural shaped pieces.
