By the Brook in Spring (Outdoor)

Excellent example of 1200 piece interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle from the ever-popular, Victory-Gold Box-Artistic Series. This puzzle comes in the traditional gold-foil covered box which also sports a label from top French fashion-house and high-end department store, Louis Vuitton.
The unsigned painting which features a range of wildlife set around a small brook lends itself perfectly to this style of puzzle, which also features 72 Whimsies or figural-shapes.
Probably dating from the 1950's.
