In The Grafton Country

Good quality, thick plywood jigsaw puzzle from a landscape painting by the British artist George Herbert Buckingham Holland (1901-1987).
G.H.B. Holland was born in Northampton, where he also studied and spent the majority of his life. Primarily a portrait artist, he also painted landscapes and this super painting would probably have been painted in the vicinity of Grafton Regis, some ten miles to the South of his home town.
See too the very similar interpretation of another G.H.B. Holland painting, that of the 700 piece Gold Box Artistic puzzle The Pytchley Country
