Misty Morning (Harbour Scene)

Although only a partial signature is evident in this 500 piece puzzle, its artistic style and the section which is visible indicate it to have been painted by the British artist Vernon Ward, whose work was very popular with jigsaw manufacturers. See also the similarly themed 500 piece Gold Box puzzle Unloading, Newlyn Harbour (Harbour Scene) by the same artist. This particular puzzle is thought to have been produced shortly prior to the J.W. Spears takeover in 1970.
