Parnham House, Beaminster, Dorset.

Very unusual puzzle with just a single red Victory sticker on the end of the lid, which shows a montage of scenes in and around Parnham House in Dorset. This Tudor House, built c1400 was purchased in 1976 by the cabinet-maker and craftsman, John Makepeace, who in 1977 opened The John Makepeace School for Craftsmen in Wood. As many of the scenes depict furniture making, it seems reasonable to suggest that this puzzle was produced at around that time to celebrate the occasion.
